The garlic is ideal choice for growing at home. They don’t need much space and you can grow them in a pot with some soil. You need 20cm deep pot with drainage in the base as it can form fungi if there is excessive water.
Plant any kind of garlic but don’t peel it. Fill the pot with soil and leave one to two cm. distance with the edge. Then, place the cloves ten cm. from the surface but keep eight to ten cm. between each other. Place the cloves facing up the pointed part.
Place the pot on a direct sunlight during the day. Do not overwater it as it may rot. After eight to ten months, when its leaves start to turn brown, it is ready to be harvested. Keep it in dry place for one week and after that you can consume it.
